Protects equipment from over voltage. A 5 cell Rx NiCd battery pack (7.5 volts hot off charger) offers the advantage of faster servos with more torque. But, when fully charged this same pack can cause jittery servos. Also, many ignition systems need to see voltage from a 4 cell 4.8v pack (up to 6v hot off the charger). The ACC134N to regulates the higher input voltage down to either 5.4v or 6.0v (user adjustable). Thereby providing the right input voltage for your ignition or eliminating servo jitter. Universal connector set easily fits between JR, Futaba J, Hitec & Airtronics Z. In the event your source battery falls below 6V the regulator continues to pass voltage at reduced levels tracking the pack voltage down.
