Restocking Fees for Returns
F3A Unlimited will assess a 10% restocking fee for all returned merchandise, provided it is unopened and in perfect retail condition, and ready for subsequent resale.Items returned that are not in retail condition may be rejected and sent back to you, postage COD, Refunds typically take 3-5 business days, from the date of issue, to show up on your account. We will give neither refunds nor credits for returns that arrive more than 30 days from the date of our shipment to you.
F3A Unlimited’s Return Policy
Photos may be requested for returned items or parts. Items wishing to be returned must be in new condition with all manuals, accessories, and all other parts in its original packaging and fully intact. A return of any kind will not be granted once the item has been assembled or modified in any way. All returning merchandise must be received and inspected by our certified technicians before we will be able to process and/or ship out any replacement or process a refund if such is warranted.
F3A Unlimited cannot be held responsible for any lost shipment of returned merchandise during the shipping process. The customer is responsible for the return shipping cost to send the return merchandise back to our office. For returned merchandise that is found to be genuinely defective (manufacturers’ defect), we will ship out replacement and/or part free of charge and waive any additional shipping and handling fees for the replacement.
Returns/Exchanges/Refunds will not be allowed or granted if the item or part has been used, flown, or otherwise operated. F3A Unlimited would like all customers to understand that RC aircraft can endure a crash if a mistake was made and/or if you do not have the proper training on how to fly/operate these products. Any kind of crash and/or hard landing may cause damage to the aircraft. Please note that F3A Unlimited WILL NOT be held responsible for the difficulty level of a product exceeding the operating skill level and/or competence of the pilot as well as the weather conditions that the pilots have chosen to fly in.
If you believe that there is a defect with the merchandise, or with any parts used in it, F3A Unlimited would require for you to send in the item for inspection to be tested by our technicians. This is to determine if the issue is in fact due to a defect with the merchandise. Please note that F3A Unlimited will not be able to reimburse any cost associated with the return of the item or part.
F3A Unlimited reserves the right to return merchandise back to the customer, refuse returns, deny refunds, and/or replacements if in the opinion of our certified technicians that the returned item is deemed used, crashed, abused, mishandled, modified, and/or has been damaged by dust, dirt, water, sand, and/or other contaminants.
IS YOUR PRODUCT NEW/UNUSED AND IN ITS ORIGINAL PACKAGING, AND HAS IT BEEN PURCHASED WITHIN THE LAST 30 DAYS?
Go online to www.f3aunlimited.com, click “Contact” located in the footer and send us an email. Write in the quantity, stock number, description. If you are returning a DEFECTIVE item, please provide a detailed description of the product defect. All other merchandise returned must be in new, resalable condition. Please note that non-defective merchandise returned may be subject to a 15% restocking fee.
IS YOUR PRODUCT DEFECTIVE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX?
If you have a product that is defective right out of the box, it can usually be repaired or replaced at no charge. HOWEVER some manufacturers insist on dealing directly with you in these situations. Please contact F3A Unlimited for further instructions at 1-800-591-2875 or email us.
HAS YOUR PRODUCT BEEN DAMAGED IN SHIPPING?
In order to get proper credit, merchandise that is damaged as a result of shipping should never be returned without calling us first. It is very important to save ALL packing materials and paperwork, as well as the damaged product. Call us at 1-800-591-2875 and we’ll give you further instructions.
A representative of the shipping company must see the packaging and pick up the product. If a package that has obviously been damaged during shipment is delivered to your door, SIGN for it and note above your signature the word "damaged" (or "open" if the box was broken open), and request that the delivering company make an inspection.
If the damage during shipment was concealed, please notify the delivering carrier and call F3A Unlimited when you discover the damage. You must keep the damaged carton until the shipment has been inspected by the carrier.
Do not return the merchandise yourself. F3A Unlimited will process a claim and tell you exactly what to do next.
PACKAGE FORWARDING - SHIPPING TO A MAIL FORWARDING
If you choose to have your package sent to a mail forwarding company please note that upon acceptance of delivery at the mail forwarding company we consider the package being fully delivered. Unfortunately we cannot cover items that have been lost or damaged in that process. There is some risk involved on our customer's part when deciding to choose that route of delivery. F3A Unlimited will not cover lost or missing merchandise that has been sent through a forwarding compny. Please take care when picking out a mail forwarding service to make sure they are reliable and have a good track record of customer satisfaction.
